but I have to point out a few flaws — the prime being that ‘’alternatives’’ deliver electricity. Electricity is virtually useless without all the gizmos attached to the end of the wires.

So take a look around where you sit right now

mentally remove any object that contains a component of oil coal or gas

then mentally replace anything in the sense that it might be produced exclusively from the output of windfarms or solar panels

I would suggest you are now sitting naked on bare earth starving to death
