humankind got to ‘now’ through the development of energy consuming technogies — -windmill/farmcart/ steam engine/car/aircraft.

i dont want to give up hope either — -but it has been that hell bent progression that got us into this mess and i can see no slowdown in it at all/

mainly because it is in the consumption if fuel that we give ourselves employment and pay each other wages

i have grandchildren — they see my ramblings as just something that keeps grandad removed from the onset of dementia — -and get on with their successful lives — some of them are very successful indeed, of which i am very proud, though apprehensive of their future.
