Spain has political upheaval and throws dissidents in jail for sedition.

We won’t touch on the monstrosities of Eastern Europe, or the tottering craziness on Greece and Italy.

Yes the UK is going to collapse, as is the USA, but not entirely for the reasons you put forward I think.

We are trying to sustain aspirations which have been drawn from past ‘glory’ which we cannot now support.
