apologies for ‘disturbing’ you, i can only offer reality as it appears to me. you are right about ignorance of wars, that they are all energy driven in their purpose, that didnt occur to me either until about 30 years ago.

as to wind/solar, they deliver electricity, whereas we use oil/fossil fuels to make ‘stuff’ which we buy and sell to each other

electricity is useless without all the whirry things we connect it to

i have 7 grandchildren, they seem to be of the collective opinion that the stuff i write keeps me occupied in retirement — they can’t do much about it so they go on their consuming way — -they have no real choice in the matter. — one has just bought an Aston Martin — no point in me saying that’s insane pointless consumption
